🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Scottish Tartan Silk Collection — Murray, MacGregor, Campbell of Cawdor — BDV / Godfrey Phillips Cigarette Silks c.1912

Charming set of three antique printed silk cigarette cards from Godfrey Phillips / BDV, dating to c.1910–1915. Each features a distinct Scottish clan tartan, complete with coat of arms, clan name, and motto — wonderful pieces of Scottish heritage and Edwardian collecting history.

✨ Murray — No.31 | Motto: Fortune and Bill the Better | Rich green & blue tartan
✨ MacGregor — Motto: Ard Choille (High Wood) | Vibrant red & green tartan
✨ Campbell of Cawdor — No.62 | Motto: Be Mindful | Deep blue & green tartan

Delicate woven silks — show gentle age with light edge fraying, as is entirely typical for these fragile textiles. Colours remain bright and vivid — the most important feature for collectors. A beautifully matched trio, ready to display or add to a silk card collection.
