Such an evocative read. I spent many happy hours making the craft items illustrated in this book. Despite several years having passed since I last read it, I think the skills that young children develop through carrying out the activities are still the same and the process involved in making is key to their development. When they're old enough, I'm looking forward to making lots of the items with my grandchild.
