Another excellent group of twelve original woven silk cigarette cards, from the iconic Flags of the World series produced by Godfrey Phillips / B.D.V. Cigarettes, circa 1910–1920. Each design is finely printed on soft silk, with colours that have remained remarkably vivid for over a century.

Condition: All cards are in lovely vintage condition. Silk edges are mostly crisp with only minor, natural fraying in places; colours remain bright and clear. A couple have faint, light age-related patina — entirely normal and charming for their age.
A fantastic, diverse selection — British North Borneo and the Chinese dragon flag are definite highlights and always keenly sought-after by collectors. A wonderful addition to any silk card collection or perfect for display.
