Pilkington of Uganda was written by Charles Forbes Harford-Battersby and first published in 1898, with an introductory chapter by Rev. J.H. Skrine. It is a biography of George Lawrence Pilkington (1865-1897), an Irish Protestant missionary of the Church Missionary Society.
The book details his journey to Uganda in 1891 with Bishop Alfred Tucker’s party, his experiences with the local people, and his missionary work.
