About Us (Bill & Barbara)

My name is William although most people call me Bill.

Before my retirement I was an IT lecturer abroad for many years.
Since childhood I have always enjoyed reading all types of literature. Now I am a but more nostalgic in my choices, especially good children’s literature.

So now I have the time and opportunity to renew my interest in books. As my wife and both enjoy going to auctions.

I was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and one of my favourite authors is Ian Rankin a fellow Scot. I also share wife’s interest in illustrators and woodcuts.

My other interests are football, playing pool, and athletics.
We run the book business as a team using our different skills mine is maintenance and admin. My wife’s research and logistics.

We have a family of grown up girls who we video link and they keep us up to date with modern tech. So I am outvoted on occasions.
